Mathias Lock & Key

We looked that we can clip and this was the location! It's a wonderful little shop inside the Masonic Construction downstairs. They've things from alarm systems to even, and safes duplication that is key! The gentleman working was friendly and things went for out purchase!

I had the best service here! I went for a mail backup around cap hill, so this was worth driving a few minutes outside of there. Pretty key you might want can be made by them. There's easy accessibility from Speer, a parking lot, along with the customer service here was fantastic. My customer service rep had me laughing however I was outside the door in under 5 minutes and told me a dreadful joke. What a fantastic and convenient enterprise.

I asked if they can make a copy and showed the key to the gent. He needed to get a guy to check at it together with him and to locate the blank. He started right in on the duplication, never quoting me a deal on it, without turning around. When he was done and gave me the crucial, he had broken the rubber head off my key, as he hadn't removed it. Rather than taking the blame, he simply handed it back and said the case was falling apart. Then he explained the key that was new was 14. I would not have had it made at the cost; I have yet another spare.
You will not find a better locksmith, although not great at business practices .
They used to get a location in DTC that was convenient, so I needed to induce downown to acquire a dupe of a key.

Our key duplication took no time in any way, I think we were in and out in under 3 minutes. Super friendly staff also!

We had a dreadful time with a couple other locksmiths/ doorway installers that essentially dropped the ball at every turn since we were not believed a"big job". After being known from a peer of the market to Mathias, I achieved and expressed how much trouble we had with other companies previously. I shared I had been willing to put up for a cost to our organization. Heather seemed determined to change our thoughts about ETA of installments and locksmiths:-RRB- She had been open and up front about the turn-around period and listened to some worries. Dave and also an apprentice (He had been Russian I think but do not have his title ) first came out and put in the vast majority of our originally ordered locks. My boss, who changes his mind made some changes and added to the purchase and Heather and Dave were adapting. Dave worked tirelessly to complete our purchase and came by three times. Cameron came by to measure a doorway minute was added to the sequence by us and was fantastic. We're currently anticipating the doorway installation, but I am confident it will only make my review better!! Every single person I spoke to has been so good and patient with us as we entrusted our door requests. I could not have been happier with each of the interactions we are continuing to have with all the Mathias team. I would suggest them to anyone looking for good servicea quick turn around / communication, and staff. Thank you for making my life more easy!

Yesterday I purchased the one you hold in keys, a mix lockbox. After slicing open the packaging I realized it will not match my car key, which had been the primary reason I purchased it. Today, I moved back to try to swap it. I was a little concerned they would not have the ability to take it back since there's no way for them to re-seal the package. They not only admitted it back without a fuss, they gave me a lockbox which was expensive and didn't charge me anything to get the difference. Obviously whenever someone asks for anything pertaining to locks and keys, this is the place that is going to spring into mind. Very happy with the service and the way they treat their customers:)

I have an antique armoire (Deco era?) That includes key and a lock. It worked fine for its 30+ years before a couple of months back, once the key close to the lock mechanism and would know. Mathias was phoned by me; Luther fixed it in under 5 minutes and came. The very best aspect of this: no cost! What a guy. We need to upgrade the locks on our doors ; Mathias will be the one.

We predicted likely 15 stores to see if anybody can cut us keys to a truck bed topper (canopy) we purchased from a guy on Craigslist. we had some recut we were never given the keys to it. We are traveling across the nation like we could drive all over, so that it's not. He came back in and over 6 minutes we have two keys for our topper and it was 12 bucks. Friendly service with a response time, awesome. Will never be through but I recommend these guys since we are driving back.

Fantastic, fast, LOCAL, trusted locksmith and full-service security supplier! Fantastic showroom with locks, safes, etc. and whether they don't have what you need right there, they'll get it!

Called on getting two doors re-keyed, to receive a quote. I was greeted by a very rude woman who acted as it was a huge inconvenience to be rattling costs off . I asked for an estimate on how long the appointment could be and she replied that she had completely no idea how long it took the techs. Certainly have found costs else where and won't be utilizing Mathias for any business based on that dialog.

Really disappointed with Mathias Lock and Key. I made two voicemails and the staff did not phone me back, but I was eventually able to get a hold of somebody over the phone. I left and my new key got stuck and the doorknob fell off, when they came to my location. I called the staff, who were unapologetic and could not give me an approximate time later in the afternoon that they may get it fixed. I wouldn't recommend.
